Milpitas, CA, September 20, 2004 – In order to provide a Compact ASE source with higher stabilization output power and mean wavelength, Lightwaves2020’s accredited engineers devised a more efficient technology to attain their targeted results.
We have executed the stability test for 14 hours and the overall changes of the output power were below 0.007dB, or equal to 0.02 mW of variation. This result includes the Warm-Up Period and Environmental Temperature Change. The enhanced Compact ASE source features: compact size, low power consumption and high stable output and mean wavelength.
With the availability of user-friendly commands to provide setting functions, configuring, monitoring and alarming via RS-232 interface, this component is an ideal solution for light source of optical fiber gyro, optical fiber sensors, OSA and other optical testing equipments.
